Summary
The 2019 CGPM 4-hour training is the eight update in the series. In these modules, we will learn about efficiency, sustainable water-saving practices, indoor environmental practices, managing bed bugs, and integrated pest management.
Introduction to the CGPM 4-Hour Update
The module covers the Credential for Green Property Management training requirements. You are required to complete four hours of green training annually to maintain the CGPM credential and meet HUD requirements.
Module 1 – Energy Efficiency
We will learn about energy efficiency and energy efficient equipment. The module will cover measures you can take to reduce energy consumption including how to evaluate LED and whether upgrading your building lighting to LED makes sense.
Module 2 – Water Sense and Sustainable Practices
This module will cover WaterSense fixtures, water sustainability practices including landscape options to reduce water usage while still having an attractive garden.
Module 3 – Indoor Environmental Quality, Lead, Mold and Duct Cleaning
We will learn about improving Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ), Lead safety, Mold and Duct Cleaning.
Module 4 – Bed Bugs and Integrated Pest Management
In this module, we will learn about the life cycle of bed bugs, pest control of bed bugs, and integrated pest management practices.
